Olia Byrledianu

Olia Byrledianu is a passionate filmmaker from Ukraine, who is currently based in Vancouver, BC and studies Film Directing in Langara college. She has more than 5 years of experience in video production and screenwriting. In Ukraine Olia was working with advertising agencies and directors worldwide, helping them to produce commercials, documentary and social projects. Also Olia works with clients and directors worldwide for more then 6 years as a visual researcher and commercial treatment designer. Olia has graduated from a couple film schools in Ukraine, where she has been studying script writing, documentary and feature film directing before the war. During the last 1,5 years, while studying in film schools, Olia has directed 4 short films (in Ukraine, Czech Republic and Canada).

Most of all Olia loves to dive deep into story plot and characters, bringing her own unique vision to life on set. She is a real nerd when it comes to each of the details in creating a film 🙂 Currently Olia is determined to write and direct her debut feature film after graduating from Langara college.
