Ilian Mandev

Ilian Mandev, born on March 13, 2003, is a passionate filmmaker who has always loved film since his mum took him to the movie theater frequently as a kid. In high school at Gleneagle Secondary School, he worked as a sound tech for the stage musicals and the music department, showcasing his technical expertise and dedication to delivering exceptional audio experiences. He excelled in film class, even going so far as to create a special class for himself so that he could continue studying film for a third year, despite the course originally being limited to grades 10 and 11. Outside of school, he channeled his creative energy by producing music videos for local rock bands, capturing electrifying live concert footage.

His latest endeavor was joining the Langara film program as a screenwriter, creating over six unique screenplays and producing two of them. Through his diverse experiences and unwavering passion, Ilian Mandev has established himself as a talented filmmaker with a keen eye for visual storytelling and a commitment to bringing captivating narratives to life.
