Gracie Ramsay

Gracie Ramsay started her Acting journey at a young age, writing, directing and starring in her own short films that she created with her siblings and friends. She continued to write all throughout highschool and even studied Film Acting for a semester. Upon graduating highschool in 2018, she attended the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles for a one month intensive program. She starred in shorts shot on The Desperate Housewives set, and had access to other incredible locations. She wrote and directed several of her own films outside of school, during her time there. She moved to Vancouver in 2019, and in 2021, she starred in a Capilano student film. During that period, Gracie wrote and directed short films as personal projects. She went back to Film School the winter of 2023, where she studied intensively for eight months.

In addition to acting in the student films, Gracie edited one of the three minute shorts and nine minute shorts. She worked as a second AC, a boom operator, production designer, and was an executive Producer on two of the films. She played a lead in a horror film shot outside of school, called Slasher. Gracie worked in Voice and Animation for the eight months of her studies, and recorded a professional Animation and Commercial Demo Reel. During this time, she also wrote, filmed and voiced over a commercial for an app, which she submitted and was paid for.
