Daniel began his filmmaking journey at a young age, working on home made films with his cousins and screening them to his entire family. As he grew older, his interest in film grew to, he began researching filmmaking techniques and using every opportunity to work on short films and sharing them in his inner and professional circle.
His professional introduction to film began when he got accepted in LCFA, where he met a good number of talented people that shared his passion for film.
His directing style has always been character focused, meaning he looks for the audience to understand different points of view and experience real life situations represented in film, he enjoys when people get to escape reality through his films and are able to put themselves in someone else’s shoes.
He went on to direct two short films, work as an Assistant Director, Director of Photography, Assistant Camera Person, Editor, Composer, and other positions on film sets. Culminating in his participation in the “Unlock the Vault” film festival.
