Damla Bozoğlu

Damla Bozoğlu is an independent writer and filmmaker based in Vancouver. Born and raised in Istanbul, she focused her work on community building through art and design, organizing regular gatherings for young artists and the LGBTQIA+ community of Istanbul.

As the creative director and co-founder of the cult design brand Epicene, she has written, directed and produced commercial campaigns for the brand. Amongst other clients such as Under Armour, she has also worked as a scriptwriter for the Nike documentary of Turkiye’s national volleyball player Ebrar Karakurt.

While studying at LCFA she has written and produced two short films, Bullshit and Pixie.
